PT Merdeka Copper Gold Mining Company is An Indonesian mining company which operates the copper and gold mining, and have a long-term expected mine life followed by processing stockpiles.
To support our Mining Operational and expansion project, we are looking for highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the following position :
Lead Project Control
- Minimum Tertiary or Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or appropriate discipline with minimum of 8 years experiences in supervisory level in Project Control Engineering as Lead Project Control ; has minimum 12 years in the Mill Expansion Processing Plant / EPC Industry with demonstrated project management, cost control and planning skills;
- Proficient in Ms Project, Ms Office, and Desktop Publishing Package;
- Proficient in Resources Analysis, understanding Contract Obligations, and Cost Control utilizing software such as SAP or other ERP.
- Proficient in Planning & Scheduling area and utilisation of P6 Project management is a must.
- Possess leadership traits and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards; Demonstrate strong conceptual skills, and capable of developing lateral and practical solutions; High level of integrity and commitment; Good analytical, conflict resolution, sound decision making skills;
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written; computer literate.
Some of your duties will include:
- Manage the commercial and claim functions of the project;
- Provide key support to project on start-up phase;
- Provide key support for project risk management; Provide initiatives to improve commercial awareness;
- Provide training delivery on control financial outcome area.
- Provide technical design and analysis for Infrastructure construction and services activities; produce daily and weekly plan of project work; create monitor timeline for project work and ensure the completion on time within budget and to the required standard of quality;
- Communicate project planning issues to mining process operation and or civil section;
- Promote continuous improvement in the design function;
- Provide direct support and governance to project control team on site for budget setup and revision; cost and progress review; month end reporting included contract valuation;
- Monitor utilization and efficiency of equipment which be used for project work; monitor of water management plan; monitoring of clearing progress; monitoring of road maintenance and payload
