We are currently taking applicants for the following position:

Mine Engineering Manager – Nickel Mining

Requirements:

1. Min. bachelor’s degree in a mining related Engineering discipline,
2. Min. 7 years experiences in mining industry, including at least 5 years in Mine Planning for mineral processing NICKEL,
3. Demonstrates good knowledge of Mining equipment capabilities and applications,
4. Experience with drill/blast and dewatering activities an advantage,
5. Well-developed computer skills, including their application to Mine Engineering,
6. Ability to use Mine Planning and Scheduling software including practical application to mining operations,
7. Good knowledge of best practices in Mining operations,
8. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.  Attention to detail,
9. Fluent in English, written and verbal,
10. Willing to work flexible hours to meet position requirements,
11. Willing to be placed in any Company location and travel to Project Sites as needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide overall Direction, Management and Leadership for the Mining Division, to achieve Business Plan targets in accordance with the Petrosea guidelines and policy
2. Develop and implement annual budgets in accordance with Petrosea criteria.
3. Participate in the preparation of tenders/proposals for new mining work and in the review process prior to submission
4. Identify strategic opportunities and directions to grow new mining business
5. Assist Project Managers in implementing budgetary controls on site and in monitoring financial performance of contracts.
6. Assist Project Managers in assessing ongoing equipment and human resources required to effectively carry out our contractual obligations.
7. Manage support for Project Managers in resolving commercial & contractual issues on site and become directly involved in all contractual issues that cannot be resolved at site level
8. Manage support for Project Managers and Technical Staff and identify training and development requirements for all technical and administration staff on site.
