Coal Mining Infrastructure Project Manager
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field).
- Minimum 12 years in large-scale infrastructure projects, including at least 5 years in a senior project leadership role within mining infrastructure, toll roads, or other major construction projects.
- bPMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent, Contract & Risk Management, Construction Safety (K3).
- Project integration, contract negotiation, cost & financial control, risk management, stakeholder engagement, project scheduling tools (Primavera/MS Project).
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Responsibilities :
- Strategic Project Leadership
– Define the strategic direction, objectives, and priorities for mining infrastructure projects.
– Align and integrate cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction, finance, HSE) under a unified project vision - Planning & Budgeting
– Approve project scope, schedule, budget, and cash flow.
– Ensure baseline plans are established and maintained through effective project control systems. - Procurement & Contract Governance
– Oversee procurement strategy and major contract execution.
– Supervise tendering, contract evaluation, variation orders, and contractor claims resolution. - Project Execution Oversight
– Monitor and control construction execution to ensure compliance with design, specifications, quality, and budget commitments.
– Evaluate deviations and implement corrective actions or strategic adjustments. - Risk & Stakeholder Management
– Identify major risks (technical, financial, regulatory, social) and ensure effective mitigation strategies are implemented.
– Act as the primary company representative with regulators, government agencies, investors, consultants, and key contractors. - Reporting & Governance
– Provide timely and accurate project progress reports to the Project Director, Board, and external stakeholders.
– Ensure accountability, transparency, and compliance with internal policies and government regulations. - Leadership & People Development
– Lead and develop direct reports (Infrastructure, Project Control, Procurement & Contract, Construction).
– Build team capability, foster collaboration, and develop talent pipelines within the project organization.
