HSE Engineer

The assignment will include 2 months at the Jakarta office, 2 months at the Fabrication site, and 5 weeks offshore.

Key Qualifications and Skills Required Include:

• Nationality: Indonesian
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related technical field.
• Experience: HSE Engineer background with 7+ years’ experience on offshore Oil & Gas HSE, specifically working on floating assets (FPU, FPSO, or FLNG).
• Certifications: Valid BOSIET/T-BOSIET (Offshore Survival) and Ahli K3 Migas / AK3 Umum certifications are required. Additional certifications in firefighting, first aid, and gas testing are preferred
• Technical Knowledge: Strong HSE technical knowledge in offshore brownfield activities, HSE Management System, Permit to Work (PTW) systems, SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations), Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis, Offshore emergency response
• Marine Standards: Familiarity with offshore marine regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL) and safety procedures.
• Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken) for reporting and crew communication.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• HSE management system : Ensure HSE deliverables are up to date and properly implemented
• Risk assessments: Participate in risk reviews, such as Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and provide safety input.
• Audit and site inspections: Conduct regular HSE Inspection, technical HSE audits, and Daily HSE supervision.
• SIMOPS coordination: Monitoring the implementation of PTW and SIMOPS matrix (e.g., Construction, T&I, marine transport, and maintenance activities).
• Emergency Response and Preparedness: Ensure the implementation of ERP procedure (ERP facilities readiness, drill, etc.)
• Incident Investigation: Participate in incident investigations and provide a report.
• HSE Reporting: Collect, compile, and report daily and weekly safety performance metrics and KPIs to support project management and regulatory compliance
