Sr. Drilling Engineer

Location – Jakarta

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas well drilling operations and planning, with significant experience as a Drilling Engineer. Onshore drilling experience is preferred, including experience in handling high-pressure or high-gas-content wells.
• Strong technical expertise in developing well drilling programs, drill string design, drilling fluid/mud selection, and drilling hydraulics.
• Proficient in using the latest drilling simulation and design software.
• Strong ability to optimize drilling operation budgets to ensure cost efficiency and effective allocation of resources.
• Possess a valid Well Control certification and a good understanding of K3 and K3LL/HSE regulations and practices in the oil & gas industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively coordinate with work teams, contractors, and management.
