Arch Coal is improving the consistency of its dozing operations at Black Thunder mine in the western United States with the implementation of Cat® MineStar™ Command for dozing. The semi-autonomous system allows one operator to control up to three machines at one time from a remote location. In addition to working more efficiently, operators also experiences less physical fatigue thanks to their location in a comfortable office environment.
