Mining Project Manager

Location: Konawe, Sulawesi Tenggara
Employment Type: Contract | Full-time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in relevant major
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mining operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Must have a proven background working with mining contractors, where cost control, budget discipline, and cost-per-ton optimization are key performance drivers
• Demonstrated experience in nickel mining or other mineral commodities such as copper, gold, or bauxite
• Backgrounds limited to crushed stone (aggregate), sand, gravel quarrying, or civil earthworks/hauling-only operations will not be considered
• Proven track record in managing greenfield mining projects, from initial land clearing through to full operations, including hauling and jetty/shipping activities.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining operational efficiency and cost control.
• Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams (operations, engineering, HSE, maintenance)
• Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
• Develop and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and optimize resources
• Oversee mine planning execution in alignment with short-term and long-term production goals.
