Project Engineer

Project Engineer 

Purpose of the role:

To provide technical support to the Pomalaa Project to complete the FEL studies, and in both Early Works and Final stages. To coordinate the Early Works and Start Up Projects. To ensure all aspects of Healthy, Safety and Encironmenta; impacts are considered and the effects minimized.

Accountabilities:

• Assist with the Project Manager/Contract manager to run all project in CoW Mine Development section such as Early Work project, Geotechnical and Hydrogeology project at Pomalaa.
• Coordinate with engineering team to prepare project plan and execution project.
• Coordinate with procurement team to support Mine Development Team to preparing tender document and monitoring the tender processes.
• Execute and controlling contract at the CoW Mine Development Team.
• Consistently apply workplace management procedures and behaviors to ensure compliance with policies , procedures, agreed values and behaviors and company Code of Conduct.
• Preparing job assignment for crews including support/assistance (coaching/developing, performance feedback) to ensure all subordinates work conforms to the departement’s purposes.
• Ensure the implementation of EHS among all subordinates and contractors is within the company standard.
• Controlling and monitoring budgets and manage expenditure and rforecasts for the annual plan, projects and programs.
• Strive to continuously improve and innovate unit cost performance, production targets, strategies and loss reduction through the development of systems and management.
• Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports.

Technical Specialization:

• Open pit nickel laterite mine and geology knowledge.
• Contract and project management.
• Budgeting and capital planning.
• Process improvement and cost reduction.

Requirement:

• Min bachelor degree (S1) in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
• Min. 6-7 years of relevant working experience.
• Mandatory Pengawas Operasional Pratama (POP) certification.
• Preferable PII Certification.
• Preferable LSP – Perhapi Certification.
• Preferable PMB (Project Management Basic) certification, PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• English is a must.
