Instrument Techncian
Responsibilities:
- Execute necessary repairs and maintenance on instrumentation equipment to support the operation and maintenance of regional/country oil and gas production, both in onshore and offshore facilities, ensuring the highest technical standards are maintained in a safe and cost-effective manner.
- Perform regular inspections and tests of instrumentation equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis of instrumentation failures and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new instrumentation systems and upgrades.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and provide reports on equipment performance.
- Work collaboratively with other maintenance and engineering teams to ensure integrated and efficient operations.
- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Intermediate level English proficiency.
- Minimum Technical Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronic or related field from a recognized Polytechnic or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Instrumentation Technician in the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrating knowledge and skills in instrumentation and control systems, including PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and field instruments.
- Experience with calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various instrumentation devices such as transmitters, controllers, analyzers, and valves.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to instrumentation and electrical systems.
- Preferably domiciled in Madura, Gresik, or the nearby areas of East Java.
- Employment arrangement will be under Third Party Contract (TPC)
- Certification in instrumentation and control from recognized industry bodies is preferred
- Experience in hazardous area equipment maintenance
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and tools such as thermography.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
