- Collaborated with the CCS research team to assess pore pressure in the Talang Akar Formation, Asri Basin, based on geomechanical and geological studies, including structural geology and regional stratigraphy.
- Evaluated fracture pressure and stress regimes using rock mechanics parameters such as Poisson’s ratio, Young’s modulus, and maximum and minimum horizontal stresses by applying the poroelastic method.
- Determined subsurface pore pressure conditions using the Eaton method.
- Identified the diagenetic transformation process of smectite to illite using Dutta’s cross-plot, and its impact on fracture pressure in the Talang Akar Formation.
- Determined suitable depths for carbon dioxide injection in the CCS system within the Talang Akar Formation, along with calculations of CO₂ storage capacity in the reservoir interval based on the rock’s petrophysical properties, following Goodman’s approach.
