Description

This Open Pit Design Course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and techniques used in the design of open pit mines. The course covers topics such as geotechnical considerations, mine planning, blasting, haulage, and equipment selection. Students will learn how to develop a mine plan, select the most appropriate mining method, and design a safe and efficient open pit mine. The course also covers the use of computer software for open pit design, including the use of 3D modelling and visualization tools.
