Xantippe prepares for Carachi Project exploration

Xantippe Resources (ASX:XTC) has completed mobilising its team in preparation of a drilling campaign in Q4 2023 at the Carachi Project in Argentina.
The $17.52 million market capitalisation company’s team is ready to begin the development of preliminary studies and processing options for the project.
These studies will focus on conventional processing technologies, including traditional pre-evaporation pond systems, different concentration technologies, and associated lithium carbonate plant.
The objective of these studies is to achieve battery-grade lithium carbonate.
The Carachi properties occupy the central portion of the regional water basin in the area, and Xantippe believes those properties are ideally positioned to host ‘high-quality’ brine in the deepest portion of its aquifer.

Previous geophysics studies have shown the potential for lithium-bearing brine starting at 150m and continuing up to 800m in depth.
Xantippe’s team comprises specialists covering legal, environment and community, safety, geology, hydrogeology, processing, engineering, and construction.
Xantippe Resources is a lithium-focused explorer that has its flagship Carachi Project, alongside 3 other lithium brine projects, in Argentina. The Carachi Project covers over 21,900 hectares and is located in the Catamarca Province.
As of 30 June 2023, the company had $968,000 cash and cash equivalents at hand, according to its latest quarterly report.
